01 / Coverage & Scheduling

Questions bookers actually ask.

Answered with data, not disclaimers.

Yes — Zone operates across all eight terminals at JFK, including the AirTrain connector corridors at Jamaica and Howard Beach. Our dedicated Zone 01 fleet maintains 24 vehicles on active rotation, so whether you land at Terminal 4 on an international connection or Terminal 8 on a domestic red-eye, a car is already staged within the arrivals zone. Average ground time from wheels-down to car door: 6 minutes.

Bookings are accepted up to 90 days in advance. Once confirmed, your pickup window is locked — no surge pricing, no availability roulette. For recurring airport transfers, our Recurring Series feature lets executive assistants set a standing schedule (weekly, biweekly, or custom cadence) with a single confirmation. Modifications up to 2 hours before pickup are free.

Days advance booking window

Every booking with a flight number attached is monitored by our live flight-tracking layer, which pulls gate-level data from FAA feeds and major airline APIs. If your flight lands 22 minutes early, the dispatch system adjusts automatically and the driver gets a push update. You never need to call. If the flight is delayed more than 45 minutes, we hold the booking and absorb the wait — no rebooking fee.

Zones 03 (Midtown), 04 (Lower Manhattan), and 05 (Brooklyn Heights) operate 24/7 with elevated fleet levels from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Hotel concierges and restaurant managers can request a dedicated standby vehicle for the full service window — a single car staged on-property for the duration of last call.

02 / Trust & Accountability

Your reputation rides on the car arriving.

Here is what happens when things don't go to plan.

It hasn't happened yet — but the policy is simple: if a Zone vehicle is more than 3 minutes past the confirmed pickup window and we cannot dispatch a replacement within 5 minutes, the ride is free and your account is credited $50 toward the next booking. We publish our on-time performance publicly: 98.4% of pickups arrive within the confirmed window.

Every driver undergoes a federal background check, a 7-year driving record review, and an in-person vehicle inspection before their first dispatch. All vehicles are black cars (Lincoln, Cadillac, Mercedes) or licensed yellow cabs — no peer-to-peer vehicles. Drivers carry commercial liability insurance at $1.5M per incident. Quarterly re-certifications required.

Free cancellation up to 60 minutes before pickup. Cancellations between 60 and 15 minutes incur a 25% hold charge, refunded if you rebook within 48 hours. Within 15 minutes, the full fare applies — the driver is already on route. For corporate fleet accounts, cancellation windows are negotiated as part of the service agreement.

Step 01

Book. The system finds the nearest licensed vehicle.

Enter pickup address, date, and time. Zone's dispatch algorithm queries the nearest 12 vehicles in your zone and assigns the one with the cleanest routing — not just the closest by straight-line distance.

Step 02

Confirmation arrives in 90 seconds.

SMS + email with driver name, vehicle plate, live tracking link, and a direct dispatch line. No app required.

Step 03

Car is on the curb. Door opens.

Driver holds a Zone card with the passenger's name. No hunting, no calling. Exactly as booked.

04 / In Their Words

I book 40 airport transfers a month for our C-suite. Zone is the only service where I've never had to make an apology call.

Our guests don't know the car company's name — they just know it was there exactly when it should be. That's what Zone gives us.
